跨平台網頁元件 1.3

跨平台網頁元件 (Cross-Platform Web Component) by Chunghwa Telecom Co., Ltd. is a lightweight helper application that enables secure, consistent functionality for Chunghwa Telecom’s online services across different operating systems and modern browsers. It bridges features that browsers don’t natively provide, helping supported CHT websites deliver tasks such as secure authentication and protected file operations with a smooth, reliable user experience.

Key features:

• Cross-platform and cross-browser support for major desktop environments
• Secure communication between your browser and local system for tasks required by CHT services
• Support for certificate-based authentication and digital signing where applicable
• Automatic updates to maintain compatibility and security
• Clear permission prompts and minimal system footprint
• Easy installation and removal, with enterprise-friendly deployment options

How it works:
When you visit a supported Chunghwa Telecom website, the page detects whether the component is installed. If needed, you’ll be prompted to install it. Once installed, it works in the background to enable secure features and improve service compatibility, without altering your normal browsing behavior.

Notes:

• Some services may require administrator privileges to install the component.
• Compatibility depends on your operating system and browser version; keep both up to date for best results.
